Today we have a little feature Lamb's Soapworks, a soap and body care business based in Airdrie, Alberta (shout out to my home province!). The owner, Lara Lamb creates small batches of artisinal products with pure natural ingredients. As Lara explained to me, commercial soap products are stripped of all natural glycerins and oils and are pumped full of chemicals and detergents... that definitely doesn't sound so great for your skin. Therefore, using natural products on your skin is much better.
I got to pick out some goodies to try from the company and was super excited to see these gorgeous products in person. The Sweet Orange & Cinnamon Emulsified Sugar Scrub leaves my skin feeling super smooth and soft after using it, and because all of the scrubs are emulsified, they don't leave your skin with a greasy feeling. The smell itself is very festive and is perfect for a cold fall night bath. Without a doubt I am definitely more of a warm-scented type of person so the Spiced Apple Cider and Chai Tea Latte soap bars are perfect for someone like me. They look phenomenal and would make a great stocking stuffer or goodie-bag treat for someone. What I have been doing is cutting off a small piece of soap to use in the shower or sink and I can definitely feel the difference between these natural soaps vs. commerical soaps. My hands feel like I've just moisturized them after washing them and they smell all 'fall-like' and it is just amazing.
Overall, I can tell there is a lot of attention to detail at Lamb's Soapworks. From packaging to customer service, everything is spot on. I highly recommend checking out their products, especially as the holiday season is coming up and these will make for great presents for your loved ones. I will definitely have to order some goodies for my friends and family!
You can head on over to the Lamb's Soapworks Facebook page to give them a like and keep up to date on their latest trade/market shows, or follow them on Instagram to indulge in pictures of all the products!
Cheers!
Nancy
