I love sharing small, local and independent companies on this blog, as I think it's so important to be aware of what you are purchasing and where it is coming from. Honey & Glow is an all-natural and handmade skincare company that is based out of Hamilton, ON, They provide a natural alternative to an everyday product, and use as many locally sourced ingredients as possible.
Their aim is to make as many relationships with local artisans, suppliers, and like-minded entrepreneurs as possible, and they have done so very well! I love the transparency they have with their consumers, providing us with a list of the local suppliers they work with for their lotions and potions. Their suppliers are based in Ontario, in small geographical locations such as Niagara or Burlington. Each ingredient is selected carefully for each of their products to ensure the highest quality possible. This type of business concept is really needed, as consumers are increasingly growing more aware of what they are purchasing and how it is made, and whether the process incorporates ethical and sustainable practices.

These are a few of the Honey & Glow products I received the chance to try out. Each product is packaged beautifully with their signature black and white logo. It's simple packaging that tells you what each product is, and what the ingredients in it are, with no embellishments.

This body butter contains avocado and coconut oils that are easy to spread and absorb into the skin quickly. Shea butter is super rich in moisture and the antioxidants and healing properties of beeswax leaves your skin feeling soft and supple. This body butter also contains vitamin E that is GMO free!
Honey & Glow Makeup Remover - $18.00 (Buy Here)
I am a huge fan of oil-based makeup removers as I find they are super effective in dissolving makeup that doesn't dry out the skin. This makeup remover contains a blend of olive oil, almond oil, jojoba oil, and grapeseed oil to gently remove even the toughest of makeup.

Each of their lip balm tins contain a mix of beeswax, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, vitamin E oil, organic essential oils, and local honey. I tried out the peppermint lip balm and I love that fresh and tingly feeling you get on your lips after using it.

Their lip balm tubes contain the same ingredients as their tins but a tube is so easy to throw into your purse for on-the-go moisture and lip protection. Their Creamed Honey Earl Grey Tea Latte flavour is also super sweet and also contains hints of bergamot which is literally one of my favourite scents in the world. The almond oil is infused for over four weeks with locally crafted Cream of Earl Grey tea which not only moisturises and heals, but smells delicious!
