Hey bebs! On Sunday night I had the opportunity to attend the B.A.B.E.S Event, hosted by M.U.A. Central on King Street West in Toronto. What was this event you ask? B.A.B.E.S is short for Beauty, Artists, Bloggers, and Entrepreneurs Social... but in short, this was an event that brought together beauty bloggers, makeup artists, entrepreneurs, and strong, powerful #BossBabes for an exciting night of networking, snacking, trying out beauty products, and so much more! It also coincided with the one year anniversary M.U.A. Central, an online beauty booking website.
The event was held at elle fitness and social... walking in, the space was decked out in pink and purple lanterns, and you could walk around the room to speak to a few of the sponsors of the event, which was an amazing experience in my opinion, because it was so insightful to be able to speak directly to the owners of the brands/companies in person, All guests were given a complimentary drink (I had a raspberry vodka soda), and adorable little hor d'oeurves were laid out for us to snack on.
I got to meet so many lovely women, and it was ultimately so invigorating to be in a room full of like-minded individuals. I spent most of the night speaking with Rebecca from ItsEverythingBecca.com, and I also met the founder of All Things Beauty & Skincare, Aleksandra (thanks girl for saving me the free mani!). Of course, Bili, the founder of M.U.A. Central is a total #GirlBoss and it was so inspiring to listen to her talk about her entrepreneurial journey and what is next for M.U.A. Central.
Now let's talk swag bag: Ah-mazing. After digging through the bag, I've sorted out some of my favourite items gifted to each of the attendees. All of the sponsors of the event were friendly, approachable, and as a whole, contributed so much to the B.A.B.E.S Event. Some of my favourite items included are:

In addition to meeting all of the #BossBabes, I also won a giveaway and a raffle ticket prize, and I would love to give back to you ladies because without you, I would have never had such a great year running this blog.
