It is officially the first day of fall... and this officially marks hot sugary Starbucks drinks, comfy sweaters and tights, cute boots, and the classic dark lipstick. This season, I'm sporting a classic red shade from Marc Jacobs' beauty line. This is in the shade 212 Rei of Light, from the Le Marc Lip Creme range. This is a colour-rich, creamy lipstick that comes in a sleek black case, as do all of the other Marc Jacobs lipsticks in the Le Marc Lip Creme range.
Marc Jacobs lipsticks look and feel so luxurious thanks to the super sleek packaging, but the product itself is amazing as well. This is a deep matte red colour that is sooooo pigmented I really have to be mindful of how I'm applying it so that I don't over-apply and have it run everywhere. The lipstick itself usually lasts all morning on my lips (yes, even with my morning caffeine kick), but I do find I have to reapply after my lunch. This range of lipsticks is also formulated with a bunch of ingredients to help nourish your lips, and subtle scents that give it a light vanilla taste. They're also made without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates so for those more conscious with their beauty products, you can rest easy with Marc Jacobs beauty.
