I don't know what it is, but there is something just so satisfying about using a nose strip (girlies, you know what I'm talking about). I've tried my fair share of nose strips and the Biore nose strips were my favourite for a very long time, but a few months ago, I decided to return to my Korean skincare roots, and try the Jeju Volcanic Lava Aloe Nose Strips from The Face Shop. Like any nose strip, these are fabric strips that come packaged individually, lined with the glue-y side on one side.
To use them, I'll clean my face with my regular face cleanser, then after scrubbing my nose with a gentle exfoliator, I'll rinse everything off, but leave my face wet so that the nose strip will stick to my nose. I've found that it take a little bit of manipulation in order to fit the strip perfectly to my nose because unlike the Biore strips, these don't have small slits to mold to the shape of your nose, however, the formulation of these strips forms the strongest bond, EVER. I thought my old nose strips were great, but after using these, my mind has been changed.
The scent of the strip is reminiscent of clay or charcoal, which disappears a couple minutes after application. After about ten minutes, the nose strip will harden and I'll begin peeling it off starting from the outer edges. Since the bond of the strips is so strong, it definitely takes a lot more strength to tear it off but once it's off, it also removes all of the excess junk off of my nose. I even tried a nose strip on my boyfriend, and we were both so satisfied with the results (although I'm not sure if he was more grossed out...). These nose strips remove any blackheads on my nose and make my pores less visible after every use.
There are definitely still some pore-removal products that are on my list to try, but at the moment, I am loving these from The Face Shop. The Jeju Volcanic Lava Aloe Nose Strips are sold individually or in a pack of 7, and you can purchase them from your local The Face Shop or online.
What are some of your favourite pore removal products? Let me know in the comments down below!

Nancy
