A couple weeks ago I attended an event hosted by Aveeno to showcase their Positively Radiant Body Collection. Some of their newest products from this collection are the Positively Radiant Body Lotion, Exfoliating Body Wash, and Dark Spot Corrector. The hot weather outside made it perfect for the event to be hosted at Airship 37 in downtown Toronto. I went with my good friend, Steph, and we both had so much fun - so I wanted to share what we got up to with all of you!
When we got into the space, we were greeted with an adorable salad making station. Using fresh ingredients, we stuffed our mason jars with spinach, blackberries, walnuts, granola, and more. All of these ingredients are super nutritious for the body and related to the natural ingredients that Aveeno uses in their products to replenish dry, dull skin and boost the skin's natural radiance. Each salad was served with a balsamic vinaigrette and we got a recipe for a tofu-based salad which related to Aveeno's ACTIVE NATURALS Total Soy Complex to correct tone. This formula transforms the look of all 5 factors of radiance (tone, texture, dullness, blotchiness, and brown spots).
There were so many cute stations around the venue for us to experience. Steph and I got our nails done at one station, grabbed some Positively Radiant inspired drinks at the bar, but best of all, we got to customize our own necklaces! This station had pendants and bars to choose from, so we both got our names on a bar necklace.
Very generously, Aveeno had a wall of products from their Positively Radiant line for us to choose from. I picked up some facial moisturizers, body wash, cleansers, and few extras of some products I already love from Aveeno. Of course, I also picked up their three new products; the Body Lotion, Exfoliating Body Wash, and Dark Spot Corrector.
I've been extremely diligent with my body care routine to keep my arms and legs moisturized and even-toned (wedding season after all!) and these products have been a great contribution to making sure my skin achieves this. My favourite product is the Dark Spot Corrector. It has SPF 15, and has helped to even out the dark spots on my arms from the sun and mosquito bites.
